According to MegaWhat, the Energy Research Company (EPE) evaluates taking

advantage of about 19 GW in hydroelectric contracts expiring over the next decade

to incorporate storage solutions and pumped storage plants, in an attempt to

increase the efficiency of existing reservoirs and respond to the advance of

intermittent renewables in the Brazilian electricity system. (link)

Cemig's electricity bill will have an average adjustment of 6.5%

According to MegaWhat, on Tuesday, May 26, Aneel approved an average tariff

adjustment of 6.5% for Cemig. The new values will take effect from May 28, and the

impact was divided as follows: 9.43% for high voltage consumers and 5.21% for B1
