Mgmt Announces a Second Corrective Action at the Acton, MA Facility: The May 26
announcement represents a more complex second event, involving a cannula tear (similar to
the March action) causing leakage of insulin in Omnipod 5, DASH, and Eros Pods. Mgmt
estimates that the manufacturing issue affected ~7M pods, which represents ~8.5% of total
global manufacturing production in 2025. Mgmt believes that the clinical impact is contained
(24 serious adverse events YTD and no deaths). Mgmt described this issue as more difficult to
detect, but like the March action, it was only related to manufacturing lines at the Acton facility.
