Joshua K. Sabari, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Thoracic Medical Oncologist
and member of the Phase I Experimental Therapeutics Group in the Department of Medical
Oncology at New York University School of Medicine, NYU Langone Health Perlmutter
Cancer Center. He specializes in lung cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer and
small cell lung cancer. His research focuses on developing new treatments for people with
lung cancers. His goal is to develop biomarker-driven clinical trials that offer patients
unprecedented access to novel therapies and personalized treatments. He aims to better
understand why people develop cancer and to create innovative ways to harness the
body’s immune system to fight cancer. He specializes in lung cancer, non-small cell lung
cancer, small cell lung cancer, adenoid cystic carcinoma of the lung, lung carcinoma,
mediastinal tumor, mesothelioma, mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the lung,
neuroendocrine tumor of the lung, thoracic cancer, thymus cancer.
