1Q26 Update: What Are Investors Missing With IVVD?

May 14, 2026

vaccines have important limitations and challenges.

●Passive immunization with mAbs, such as IVVD's VYD2311, represents

a compelling alternative strategy for both the prevention and

treatment of COVID.

●Unlike vaccines, mAbs do not rely on generating an immune

response to provide protection. As a result, they may avoid many

of the safety, tolerability, and efficacy limitations associated with

vaccines. And they can still enable development of natural host

immunity.

●In addition, currently available COVID vaccines have shown

relatively modest and waning efficacy. Monoclonal antibodies

may offer stronger and more durable protection against

infection.

●IVVD has also expanded its government affairs efforts,

engaging with policymakers and advisors to educate them on the

role of mAbs in infectious disease prevention.

●Assuming IVVD's pivotal prevention study accrues a sufficient number

of events, we believe VYD2311 has a strong probability of success

and has the potential to become the preferred option for COVID

prevention.

Another underappreciated opportunity for mAbs may be in the treatment

of long COVID.

●Long COVID is a condition in which patients fail to return to baseline

health within 3 months of COVID infection. Estimates suggest that ~7%

of the U.S. population (or 20M individuals) may be affected.

●The underlying biology of long COVID remains poorly understood,

though persistent antigen exposure is a leading hypothesis.

●Monoclonal antibodies, such as VYD2311, could play a role in

managing long COVID by binding to and neutralizing persistent viral

antigens, facilitating their clearance and reducing ongoing immune

activation.

●Notably, there have been many positive and encouraging anecdotal
