According to MegaWhat, the 31st meeting of the Electric Sector Monitoring

Committee (CMSE) had projections that show that the picture of reduced inflows

puts pressure on energy prices and tariffs for 2026. In the reference scenario,

without the effects of the 2026 reserve capacity auction (LRCAP), the CMSE

assessed an average PLD projected for the Southeast/Midwest is R$ 342.67/MWh in

2026, with a red tariff flag level 1 between July and November and a red flag level 2

between July and November. With the incorporation of the thermal plants

contracted in the LRCAP held in March, with entry into operation in August this year,

the scenario changes. The entry of these plants would reduce the need for
