Within pain, VRTX's JOURNAVX (pg. 128) is over one year into launch following approval •
on January 30, 2025. For WE 5/1/26, TRx were 19,200 vs. 18,464 the week prior (+4%
WoW). We expect JOURNAVX to be widely reimbursed, and VRTX had expected broad
payer access by YE25. As of 1Q26 earnings, all ~300 sales reps are now in the field,
setting VRTX well on track toward their goal of >3x prescriptions in 2026 vs. 2025.
Management simultaneously continues to advance access, exemplified by (1) ~240M
covered lives with reimbursed access (up from ~200M in 4Q25) (2) coverage with 1/4
large Medicare Part D plans, with coverage in a second plan to be initiated by July 1. As
