Raimo Lenschow, CFA, joined Barclays in 2010 and is a

Managing Director and equity research analyst covering

the U.S. Software industry, including Big Data,

Infrastructure, and SaaS technologies. Raimo has more

than 25 years of experience in Software research and

previously covered European Software at Merrill Lynch in a

similar capacity. Prior to joining equity research, Raimo

was a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Raimo

earned a Master of Finance degree (German equivalent)

from the University of Leipzig.

Simon Coles is a Director and sector head of European

Technology Hardware covering semiconductors and

telecom equipment. The team focuses on technology

transitions and geopolitical shifts, including China

localisation, supported by extensive field trips. Simon

joined Barclays in 2012 and has more than 10 years’

experience in equity research, previously covering

European telecoms and global towers. He ranked #5 in the

2025 European Technology Hardware Extel Survey. Simon

studied Natural Sciences and holds an MSc in Financial

Computing from University College London and is a CFA

Charterholder.

Tim Long is a Managing Director and research analyst

covering the IT Hardware/Communications Equipment

and Communications Infrastructure sectors. He joined

Barclays in 2019 and his 25-year sell-side experience

includes BMO Capital Markets, Bank of America, Credit

Suisse First Boston, and Merrill Lynch. He ranked several

times across categories in the Institutional Investor poll.

Prior to joining Wall Street Tim worked as an electrical

engineer in the telecom industry. Tim earned a BS in

Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College and MBA in

Finance and Management from NYU Stern School of
