TEF-BZ plans to accelerate copper and property sales in 2H26

What happened: According to Valor, Telefônica Brasil CEO Christian Gebara said the

company will accelerate in 2H26 the sale of properties and copper cables that were

part of its fixed-line concession. Key takeaways were:

Copper sales more than doubled QoQ. The company disposed of R$202mn in

copper networks between April and June, more than double the R$90mn

recorded in the first three months of 2026. It was the largest copper sale in a

single quarter so far, and sales should speed up over the rest of 2026. Copper

has raised R$421mn since April last year.

Property sales should start from the third or fourth quarter. Last week, the

company began the process to sell 47 properties in São Paulo state, valued at

around R$600mn, with 80% of the portfolio located in the city of São Paulo.
