Valuation Method and Risk Statement

We value the company using a peak sales multiple applied to probability-adjusted sales across

its pipeline programs. Upside risk to our valuation includes stronger-than-expected clinical

efficacy and/or differentiation versus existing therapies, as well as more favorable commercial

dynamics, including faster uptake, broader label potential, or improved pricing and

reimbursement. Downside risk includes weaker-than-expected clinical data, development

delays, safety or tolerability concerns, and commercial risks such as slower-than-anticipated

uptake, increased competitive intensity, or less favorable pricing and market access.

Argenx:

We value Argenx using a 50/50 blend of SOTP and peer multiples methods. The SOTP is the

sum of the DCF-based NPV of all drugs.

Key risks include: 1) Clinical failure of Vyvgart in any of its major pipeline indications, 2)

competition from other drugs in rare autoimmune diseases, 3) potential manufacturing

issues. A key upside risk is potential M&A.

Risks for the biopharmaceutical industry in general include political risks, government

oversight of the approval and ongoing manufacturing process, discovery bottleneck and

pipeline attrition, competitive development, patent challenges and product liability.
