The growth in total credit by Monetary and Financial Institutions (MFI) was unchanged in Economist

3.9% y/y, the highest since March 2023. The main sub-components of private sector
lending were all stable too: loans to NFCs at 4.0% y/y and household loans at 3.0% y/y
(with consumer loans and mortgages also stable at 5.1% and 3.1%, respectively) (Fig.
1-16). The sequential momentum in private sector credit (which we measure by the 3-
