Day 2 at the Farnborough Airshow is a wrap. The day’s discussions reinforced the
North America
same messages we heard during Day 1: demand across commercial aerospace and Industry View Attractive
defense remains robust, differentiated suppliers continue to exercise pricing power,
and the pace of industry growth is still being determined more by supply chain
capacity than by end-market demand. At the same time, Day 2 expanded the
conversation from the strength of the current cycle to the technologies that could
shape the next one. It was a jam-packed schedule during Day 2; meetings included
CAE, Beta Technologies, Hexcel JetZero, Loar Holdings, Crane Co, and GE Aerospace.
Below we summarize our key takeaways from the event and our meetings with
management teams.
Day 2 Orders: Boeing Leads the Airshow Order Count
By our count, Boeing received 23 firm orders, Embraer received 45 firm orders, and
Airbus did not receive any firm orders on Day 2 of the Airshow. At the end of Day 2,

and Embraer has 45 firm orders.
