Bottom line. This week's updates reinforces a notable evolution in obesity R&D: the field is

increasingly shifting away from simply maximizing weight loss toward optimizing durability,

convenience, and quality weight loss. At the same time, capital continues flowing into obesity,

particularly toward differentiated oral platforms and next-gen MOAs.

Novel MOA is the next battleground. '610 (anti Activin E mAb) reported 98% Activin E inhibition

and reduced lean mass loss by 73% when combined with semaglutide; RES-010 (miR-22 ASO)

initiated a Ph1b obesity study, with a focus on fat-selective weight loss and durability after GLP-1

discontinuation; ALN1003 (undisclosed MOA) generated additional data supporting benefits on
