impact of the recent regional conflict on mobility across the emirate. Our analysis utilises +44-20-7567 0508

hourly TomTom data on typical congestion levels, live congestion levels, average vehicle Jon Peace

speeds and the difference between typical and live congestion levels. Particular focus is Analyst

placed on peak commuting periods (06:00-09:00 and 16:00-19:00), as well as the PM jon.peace@ubs.com

have been observed. Unless otherwise stated, monthly peak-period metrics represent

the average of daily congestion readings during the relevant period, providing a measure

of how traffic conditions evolved throughout each month over these periods. The data

indicate a significant deterioration in mobility following the outbreak of hostilities, with

the gap between typical and live congestion levels reaching a low of -74% during peak

periods in March. Average Peak and PM Peak readings stood at -16% and -21%,

respectively, before stabilising in April and improving materially through May and June.

By June, average Peak and PM Peak readings had recovered to -4% and -7%,

respectively, with both measures turning positive during the final two days of the month.
