prices at M. Pago (at all offerings), and lower prices at Stone in the

intermediate offering.

BCB updates PIX Tap-to-Pay rules

The BCB published new rules for PIX Tap-to-Pay, removing the previous R$500 daily

cap and allowing users to set different maximum amounts for these transactions.

The change applies to contactless PIX transfers initiated within or outside banks’

apps, including digital wallets, which will now follow PIX’s general rules. The

feature remains unavailable to iPhone users, as NFC-based payments on Apple
