UBS View: A recent US survey highlights the on-going pressure on US consumers from +61-2-9324 2000

rising health costs. While the over 65yrs have been shielded by Medicare this group also

saw a large drop in "cost security". The read across for health companies with US

exposure, particularly Cochlear, is negative, but this is a continuing trend not a new

threat.

CSL - "argenx R&D Spotlight: Advancing FcRn Leadership into Autoimmune Myositis"

UBS View: We see limited implications for CSL noting its modest sales into this small

category (only Octapharma Ig on label) and await Q3 data from argenx’s ALKIVIA trial.

This will inform filing decisions for myositis subtypes (IMNM ~20k patients & DM ~40k

patients), and define the potential competitive landscape for Ig in these cohorts.

RMD - "SLEEP 2026 Meeting" (Substack, 18 Jun)

UBS View: This write up of the key developments from the Sleep conference covers the

trend to more sophisticated diagnosis along with updates on GLP-1s and other

pharmaceutical treatments. The author notes the increasing range of options besides

CPAP therapy but also reports on growing interest and awareness of the importance of

sleep health.
