Speaker Bio

Marc L. Busch is the Karl F. Landegger Professor of International Business Diplomacy at the

Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and a leading expert on

international trade policy and law. He writes a bi-weekly opinion column on international trade for

The Hill and has served two terms as a “cleared advisor” on technical trade barriers to the U.S.

Department of Commerce and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.

Professor Busch has advised and addressed a wide range of governments and international

institutions, including the World Bank, United Nations, Advisory Centre on WTO Law, and

the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency. He has testified before the U.S. Aniket Shah, PhD * | Head of Sust. &
