Key points:

We publish an in-depth report on Succession in companies with long-term CEOs and Chairs. We analyse those firms where we see

the largest potential impacts from a leadership change based on our new methodology. The 14 companies we identify are: Alten,

BESI, CTS Eventim, Interpump, LVMH, Moncler, OVHcloud, Paradox Interactive, SEB, Swatch Group, Technogym, Ubisoft, UMG and

Wallenstam.

The European Commission published two widely anticipated initiatives: the proposal to reform the Emissions Trading System

(ETS) and a plan to boost the electrification rate in the EU. We discuss the changes, which would be significant, and their

implications, which are wide-ranging.

We make changes to our Green Impact selection. We add Vinci due to its exposure to electrification and rail and water

infrastructure construction, and remove Rational.

We also initiate coverage of UK energy infrastructure player SSE plc with a Buy rating, while we raise Target Prices for Terna and

EDP Renovaveis and cut them for Schindler and Boliden, among other companies.

Our next event: the Autumn Conference (Paris, 8-10 September). More than 200 corporates are attending, of which 40 of them are

Transition enablers. Click here to register: https://www.autumnconference.com/
