Our view: We view the commercial launch of generic Infuvite Adult and Pediatric Injection as slightly positive for APTX shares.

The product was developed in collaboration with Orbicular and Gland Pharma, highlighting the company's ability to leverage its

partnership model to bring complex sterile injectables to the U.S. market. This launch is the latest in a series of U.S. hospital-

focused moves by the company. On July 1, Apotex closed its previously announced acquisition of Cumberland Pharmaceuticals'

branded portfolio of seven drugs, adding established hospital and specialty brands under the company's focused approach in the

U.S. market. The Infuvite launch complements that transaction by expanding the injectable generics side of the U.S. business. As

the underlying FDA approvals were already disclosed in April, we expect limited share price reaction today. Separately, APTX was

added to the RBC Top 30 Global Ideas list this morning (here) following our initiation of coverage earlier this week (here).

What happened? This morning, Apotex announced the U.S. launch of four product configurations of its generic equivalents of

Infuvite Pediatric Injection and Infuvite Adult Injection. The products are indicated for the prevention of vitamin deficiency in

patients receiving parenteral nutrition.
