MDA Space Wins $688MM CSA Contract for RADARSAT Replenishment Satellite. MDA Space

secured a $688MM contract from the Canadian Space Agency to supply an advanced synthetic

aperture radar (SAR) satellite to replenish the RADARSAT Constellation Mission (RCM). The award

reinforces MDA's role as Canada's national champion in Earth observation, leveraging its multi-

decade SAR heritage across RADARSAT-1, RADARSAT-2, and the three-satellite RCM. The contract

represents a significant base-of-business win for MDA's Satellite Systems segment and supports

continuity of Canadian sovereign EO capability for defense, maritime domain awareness, disaster

response, and Arctic surveillance applications. The contract will be booked in backlog in Q2:26, with

annual revenue contribution peaking in 2028-30.

MDA Space will design and manufacture the digital payload, antennas, and various subsystems for
