With its latest release (Tuesday 23 June), Worldpanel restated UK grocery market share data Barclays, UK

covering the last five years as part of its annual review to ensure the panel accurately reflects

market performance. There have been no changes to the coverage or methodology as part of

this review, the revisions instead reflect interventions made based on retailers' publicly

reported data with most changes impacting periods from December 2024 onwards.

We received the restated back data late last week, allowing us now to show how the

restatement impacts historical market share trends. The key changes are:

• Market growth (on a 12w basis) has been revised downwards by c. -0.2ppts on average since
