Diabetes Care (TNDM, Not Rated); Beta Bionics (BBNX, Not Rated); and Senseonics

(SENS, Neutral). We think new trial data from DXCM and PODD, showing improved

clinical results, lower burden, and high user compliance, should represent a tailwindINDUSTRY

for diabetes technology adoption. Months before any new entrants formally enter the

field, all the automated insulin delivery (AID) companies were being asked about their

own pipeline efforts for patch pumps and fully closed-loop systems. Each company

has varying views on hardware design (one-piece, two-pieces, reusable, rechargeable,REPORT ability to disconnect), and algorithm features and flexibility. It is too early to determine

what customers will prefer, but we think that as with all things diabetes, patients

want ease-of-use, broad access, autonomy, and choice. We expect the diabetes

technology segment to continue evolving quickly, with the competitive landscape

ensuring frequent product iterations, and growing awareness and access from broader
