conference will, for the first time, host a high-level international academic program, “WAIC
Academic”. Turing Award laureate Yao Qizhi will serve as conference chair, with
“reinforcement learning pioneer” Richard Sutton as international co-chair. The conference
has received 284 valid submissions from 11 countries and regions, including leading
institutions such as Princeton, Cambridge, and Tsinghua University. A dedicated “WAIC Future
Tech” startup zone will showcase 160 projects selected from over 1,000 global applicants,
implying an acceptance rate of less than 13%, with more than 200 investors participating in
dedicated matchmaking sessions. The exhibition area will exceed 100,000 square meters,
featuring nearly 140 forums, and over 300 AI products are set to make their global debuts.
