Commercial aircraft parking currently stands at ~5,875 aircraft, representing ~15% of the
installed base. Narrow-body and wide-body parking is ~12%, while regional aircraft parking is Afonso Osorio, CFA
significantly higher at ~24% (Figure 2). Airbus parking, impacted by the ongoing GTF +44 (0)20 3134 7016

McDonnell Douglas) are at ~11% (Figure 15).
Middle Eastern parking continued to decline versus its peak in late February/early March,
with commercial parking now at ~22% of the installed fleet (vs ~39% at peak in February and
~17% at the end of 2025). NB parking in the region now represents ~21% of the fleet (vs ~40% at
peak in February and ~16% at the end of 2025). WB parking in the region, which serves as a hub
for long-haul travel, now represents ~13% of the fleet (vs ~29% at peak in February and ~12% at
the end of 2025) (Figure 36).
Narrow-body parking is in line with pre-pandemic levels excluding GTF impact: With the
exclusion of the parking headwinds coming from the mandatory inspections of the GTF engines,
the parking level of narrow-body aircraft stands at ~10% of the installed fleet, in line with the
