In an article by the Nikkei, many companies are cutting down on mass graduate hiring. For

example SBI Holdings (8473 JP) said that unless the graduate is an exceptional talent, it will

stop hiring them. In addition, ENEOS (5020 JP) also decreased graduate hiring by 20% saying

that days of mass graduate hiring are a luxury which it cannot afford. The MIL (Ministry of

Labor) announced that real wages in FY3/26 fell by 0.5% which marks the fourth consecutive

year of declines. Although the actual wages are going up, it is not catching up with inflation.

The newspaper also said that Japanese corporations are raising wages by 5.4% YoY which is

the third consecutive year above 5%.

dip (2379 JP) said that it will invest in Urawa Red Diamonds Football Club, which is in J1

League.SHIFT (3697 JP) said that it is integrating various subsidiaries in order to make the

back office operations more efficient. Timee's (215A JP) registered workers who are over

65 has doubled. There is growing need for elderly workers to continue working and Timee is
