Apple Intelligence - Another Step Forward

• Apple emphasized its positioning on AI to build / integrate based on usefulness - truly helpful AI is

personalized, has deep integration with personal context, and across application integration - all

underpinned by security.

• New Architecture - On Device Models to Apple Private Cloud Compute. Next-generation of

Apple Intelligence architecture is highlighted by Apple's Foundation models; extending from

Google Gemini for models to run on devices and across Apple Private Cloud Compute. This is now

across multiple modalities (text, pictures and video). Apple is launching a new version of a more

powerful on-device model to understand context and higher accuracy dictation.

• All-New Siri AI. Apple intro'd an entirely new Siri AI, noted to a much more powerful personal

assistant - greater Siri request capabilities, image recognition (e.g., integration with direction

information), and cross app integration. New Siri has new voice enhancements and customization /

dictation. Updated Siri extend across CarPlay and AirPods.

• Emphasis on Privacy. Apple Intelligence is emphasized that data is not being stored and utilized.

Apple's AI Image Playground noted to utilize its Private Cloud Compute.

• AI Usage An iCloud+ Subscription Driver? While Apple didn't provide any clear AI limit detail, it did

note daily usage limits will be included for some features such as image generation, with iCloud+

subscription set to enable additional usage.
