issues: According to an official Cyberspace Administration notice, the regulator named 30

apps, including one operated by NetEase, over issues related to the collection and use of

personal information.

•• Three government agencies summoned 7 internet platforms over improper train ticket

sales: According to an official SAMR statement, SAMR, Cyberspace Administration and

National Railway Administration summoned 7 major internet platforms, including Trip.com,

Meituan, Fliggy, Tongcheng Travel and Qunar, over non-compliant train ticket sales practices.

The regulators ordered the platforms to standardize train ticket sales activities, maintain

order in the railway ticketing market and protect consumers’ legitimate rights and interests.

•• Taobao, Meituan and JD.com signed food delivery self-regulatory pact in Guangdong

province: According to 36kr, Guangdong's provincial market regulator has allowed food

delivery platforms including Taobao Instant Commerce, Meituan and JD.com’s food delivery

unit to jointly sign a development and self-regulatory pact aimed at promoting the online

catering and food delivery industry’s transition from government compliance to proactive

self-governance. The platforms committed to establishing a cross-platform blacklist sharing

mechanism, under which merchants will be blocked once they violate the rules.
