Galaxy Launches Institutional OTC Prediction Markets Trading. Galaxy Digital (GLXY,

OW) launched an institutional over-the-counter prediction markets trading business

through its Global Markets desk, providing hedge funds, family offices and other

institutional investors with access to event-driven contracts at institutional scale.

The offering supports contracts on platforms including Kalshi and Polymarket, while

allowing clients to pair prediction market positions with hedges across equities,

commodities and other asset classes. Galaxy also completed a $10M trade with

crypto-native hedge fund Arca tied to the outcome of the CLARITY Act, highlighting

demand for institutional-scale liquidity in event-driven markets. As a principal

counterparty, Galaxy can warehouse risk and facilitate larger transactions than are

typically available through retail prediction market venues. The launch underscores

the continued maturation of prediction markets and the growing need for professional

trading infrastructure as institutional participation increases.
