Being One of Security Platform Leaders

We believe AI adoption is creating new security challenges as employees increasingly use tools

such as Gemini, Open AI, and other AI applications outside corporate controls. Enterprises now

need visibility into endpoint activity, data movement, AI usage, and cloud access—not just

traditional network security. We believe FTNT's advantage comes from offering an integrated

security platform rather than multiple disconnected products, and we view the convergence

of networking, security, observability, identity, and AI governance as a major long-term trend.

Importantly, AI security is still in the early innings and appears to represent largely greenfield

demand rather than displacement of existing vendors. While FTNT does not carry significant

presence in the mission-critical identity and end-point categories, we believe partnerships and

small tuck-ins could gradually fill these gaps.

ASIC Advantage Remains Underappreciated

We view FTNT's ASICs as one of the company's most important competitive advantages, and

believe that development cycles typically take two to three years. The benefits are meaningful,

including lower power consumption, higher performance, lower product costs, and greater

pricing flexibility. In AI data centers, power efficiency is becoming increasingly valuable

because every watt saved on security infrastructure can be redirected toward compute

workloads.
