Alternative Investments Outlook & Strategy (Panigirtzoglou et al) - Within
alternatives we only overweight hedge funds and private infrastructure - With
private assets continuing to underperform their publicly traded counterparts for a
fourth year in a row in 2026, the share of alternatives in the total asset universe held
by non-bank investors drifted even lower this year to levels last seen a decade ago.
While fundraising had improved last year, the YTD pace looks rather disappointing,
more than reversing last year’s improvement.

Pinnacle Financial Partners:Management Meeting: We Would Buy The Dip as
Hiring and Loan Growth Has Accelerated So Far In 2Q26; OW
Anthony Elian, CFA (1-212) 622-5067
We recently hosted a group dinner with President and CEO Kevin Blair and CFO
Jamie Gregory, which followed the company publishing a slide deck with 2Q26
guidance and expectations for the full year 2026 outlook, which was reiterated. The
key topics that were addressed include (1) the pace of revenue producer hires remains
strong with no “frontloading” occurring in 2Q26 and (2) loan growth also remains
strong.
