Meet the Speaker

Larry Smart is currently the CFO (11/2020-Present) of CareSource, a company that

provides managed-care services for families, children, pregnant women, adults up to age

65 and people who are blind or have disabilities. Before this, he worked as a SVP and Chief

Actuary (05/2014-11/2020) and a VP (01/2006-05/2014) at WellCare Health Plans, a

company that works on providing government-sponsored managed care services to

families, children, seniors and individuals with complex medical needs primarily through

Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans, as well as individuals

in the Health Insurance Marketplace.

Meet the Analysts

Andrew Mok, CFA, is a Director and lead analyst for the US

Health Care Facilities & Managed Care industry. He

rejoined Barclays in 2023 from UBS, where he led coverage

of Health Care Providers. Prior to that, Andrew had co-

coverage of Health Care Providers at Barclays, was part of

an II-ranked team at Wolfe Research for Facilities and

Managed Care, and worked at Janus Capital Group. Most

recently, Andrew earned a runner-up ranking in the 2025

Extel All-America Research Survey for Facilities and

Managed Care. Andrew graduated from the University of

Notre Dame and is a CFA charterholder.
