of the restrictions should be rescinded or significantly curtailed due to the lack of

data supporting them. It’s worth noting that this is at odds with the views of

Medicare expressed by the Chief Medical Officer for CGS hosting the call - in a

reversal of this physician view, the administrator highlighted that this lack of data

is why exactly why restrictions are necessary until there is clinical evidence to

support usage. Without an actual back-and-forth between physicians and

administrators, it’s hard to get an accurate read on MAC reception to the concerns
