Public builder TTM share rose QoQ and YoY in 1Q26 28 May 2026

In 1Q26, major public homebuilders’ net orders rose approximately 4% YoY, leading the Equity

(5%) YoY decrease in non seasonally adjusted new home sales. Public builders captured United States

46.1% of the 166K new home sales during the quarter, up from 42.7% in 4Q25 and Homebuilders

42.0% in 1Q25. On a trailing twelve-month basis, public builders’ market share rose to

43.8% from 42.8% in 4Q25, an all-time high. Our analysis excludes U.S. homebuilders Rafe Jadrosich
