cystic fibrosis. Dr. Ali’s medical training spans the US and Europe, and that experience

provides access to an extensive array of advanced treatment options for patients. He

specializes in the management of severe airway lung disease, including asthma,

bronchiectasis, adult cystic fibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD),

pulmonary fibrosis/ ILD, any BMT patient and atypical lung infections including

mycobacterium infections. Dr. Ali has conducted research in bronchiectasis and cystic

fibrosis, creating close ties with preeminent local and national researchers.

Eliana Merle, CFA, joined Barclays in November 2025 as an
