KOL Biography
Dr. Summit Shah, MD, MPH is a triple-board-certified Pediatric and Nuclear Medicine Radiologist at
Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He completed medical school and diagnostic radiology residency
at Ohio State University, followed by fellowship training at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Shah
serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at Ohio State and Adjunct Assistant Professor
at the University of Toledo.
He is the program director for the Pediatric Radiology Fellowship and the Pediatric Body Imaging
Fellowship. Nationally, Dr. Shah chairs the Program Directors Committee and serves as Vice Chair
of the Nuclear Medicine Committee for the Society for Pediatric Radiology. He also sits on the
Pediatric Council of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and is active within the
American College of Radiology. He is also trained and board-certified in imaging informatics.
Dr. Shah’s clinical and academic focus includes nuclear medicine, oncology, ultrasound, and thyroid
cancer research. He has published in leading peer-reviewed journals and lectures nationally. At
