it hoped to boost ancillary income from $30 million to ~$50 million by 2030. It cited various

partnerships, digital, and sponsorships, but the theme seemed to be to further leverage the

traffic and demographics tied to its key flagship centers to drive greater revenues. Second,

at dinner on the first night, management discussed how it made a hire related to AI and rather

than focusing on creating a single tool, it hopes to harness the capabilities to ultimately reduce

the non-rent paying downtime part of the leasing process on top of other efficiencies. Lastly,

it noted that while nothing was imminent over the near-term, sometime in the not too-distant

future it plans to engage a recruiter to help identify CEO Don Wood’s successor.

Retailer panel recap. The panel of retail operators included Cava, J Crew, and Giant Foods.

Broadly speaking, all speakers noted that their respective brands were still focused on

expanding their physical retail presence. That said, there was more of a tilt towards targeting

high quality centers and high-income trade areas with one panelist noting that sales volume
