up the annual meeting circuit for our coverage. New/forward-looking/interesting
quotes BELOW.
1Q26 FFIEC Data: Loan losses at 2.5-year low while loan growth accelerates (5/19/26). NCOs
in 1Q26 improved 7bps y-o-y and declined 2bps sequentially to 0.57%, its lowest level since
3Q23, amid broad-based improvement. DQs declined 7bps y-o-y and fell 4bps sequentially to
1.49%, less than half its L/T average. Consumer led the progress while C&I and R/E were little
changed to worse.
