KOL Biography: Shahzeb Khan is the Physician Director of the Echocardiography School at Baylor

Scott and White's The Heart Hospital, a full-service not-for-profit acute care hospital that is part

of the Baylor Scott and White Health system, which provides inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and

specialty medical services in Texas; he is also an Assistant Professor of Cardiology. He treats

patients in the lipid clinic in addition to the cardiometabolic and HFpEF clinic.

Dr. Khan's research focuses on drug development and clinical trials of cardiometabolic therapies.

He serves on the editorial board of the European Journal of Heart Failure and is the Associate Editor

of ESC-HF, Heart Failure Reviews, and the Journal of Cardiac Failure Intersections. He has authored

or co-authored more than 400 peer-reviewed articles for publication.

Previously, he was a Cardiologist at Duke University Medical Center after his training at the

Duke University School of Medicine and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of

Mississippi School of Medicine.
