Event Description

We are hosting an expert call with a former IMCD member of executive committee/

Executive Director for 25 years to assess the potential impact of the latest supply‑chain

disruptions on chemical distributors. The discussion will focus on the likely magnitude and

duration of benefits from these disruptions, and which business models or players are best

positioned to capture the upside.

The call will also examine how the current disruption cycle differs from 2021/22, including

changes in customer behaviour, pricing power, inventory dynamics and competitive

intensity. With both IMCD and Azelis flagging early signs of supply‑chain tightness in recent

calls, this expert session aims to provide a clearer framework for underwriting the

sustainability and quality of any earnings uplift.

Separately, we are pleased to launch the first Chemicals & Ingredients bus tour from June

9-11, wherein we will speak to IMCD management in Köln hub. Apart from IMCD, the tour will

include site visits at the global HQs of BASF and Symrise, Novonesis' Food Cultures Customer

and Application Centre, Evonik's Skin Care Lab and Kerry Group's recently commissioned
