What's new: PANW announced the general availability of Idira, a core platform Research Analyst

+1-212-250-8563 which focuses on extending security and governance across all identity types on

a single control plane. Idira enables customers to continuously discover, control, Nasr Islam

and govern identities through their lifecycle, built on a fundamental principle that Research Associate

"every identity is privileged". Included within the release is modern PAM which +1-212-250-6174

allows the extension of "dynamic privilege controls across every human, machine

and agentic identity".

Our view: The release of Idira reinforces our view of PANW as perhaps the vendor

best positioned to be the security partner of choice for companies seeking to

safely deploy AI at pace and scale. Identity has emerged as a key control point for

AI agents as it relates to security, governance, and compliance. As AI agents

inherit user access rights (which are often over-privileged), act at machine speed

with non-deterministic workflows, and are often ephemeral, runtime access

control has only grown in importance and we share the view that a modern,

dynamic PAM is foundational to effectively secure AI. We therefore think

CyberArk's roots as a PAM pioneer will serve as a competitive advantage in this

burgeoning market against peers addressing the challenge from other core

competencies (i.e., IAM, IGA).
